Festive Look Book

Happy start to December! How is everyone doing? Are you ready for Christmas? It's safe to say that here at Pepper Alley, there is great excitement round the office with Christmas tunes in full swing, wrapping paper everywhere ready to package up your festive goodies and competitive mince pie eating. We have also been giving festive dressing some thought and as you probably have your festive parties, drinks and events coming up, we thought we would share our top 3 outfit picks in a festive look book. With a leather accessory for every outfit as well as the team's fashion recommendations, what's not to love? Enjoy!

The Christmas Drinks Outfit - A touch of red appears obvious at Christmas but is there anything more stylish or warm? Do like VB and pair a bright matching clutch and shoes to your outfit to add a touch of contrast. We suggest a Rose Gold Flora for extra festive points. We can't promise your very own David Beckham with the outfit but one can hope - 'tis the season after all!

                                 

The Christmas Ball -  Whether it's a fancy do or the office Christmas ball, there are occasions where a  little glam is not just necessary but absolutely mandatory. We love glitter, sequins and everything sparkly but when it comes to balancing an outfit, nothing beats our nude clutches perfect to tone down the boldest of dresses. Having said this, a touch of grey suede looks incredibly elegant and can really bring an outfit together. 

The Cosy Christmas Drinks -  Not all Christmas events take place during the evening and require a tight dress or killer pair of heels. Whether it's some casual Christmas drinks, a festive evening at a friend's house or a Christmas play date with your children, dressing practically whilst adding a touch of glamour is key. That's why we love a slouchy jumper and a Clemmie tote to wear over the shoulder - perfect to pack Christmas presents, baby wipes and (why not!) a much needed bottle of fizz!

Top 3 October Favourites

Hi everyone and welcome back to the blog! With LFW over for this season, it's as if the whole of London has let out a sight of relief and blissfully retreated to their sofas to lap up all the autumnal cosy vibes. In fact, with Autumn in full swing, we have been reflecting on our top 3 favourites for the season - we have included a little bit of everything in our selection from the night in essentials to our favourite picks for when we do leave the comfort (and central heating!) of the house to venture outside. You can also find included some insight into London with the event we just don't want to miss out on! Hope this gives you some ideas to truly enjoy Autumn at its best - let us know what you are up to this October, we hope you have a great one!


1.  The Night In Essentials -   The arrival of Autumn calls for one big night in - we want a cosy evening with Netflix, aaall the snacks and our beauty essentials (face masks, moisturisers, everything!) firmly by our side. Luckily, our gorgeous Eva clutch bags are multi use and ideal not only for nights out. 2. The Night Out Favourites -   Autumn and Winter may be the official night in seasons but we know that Pepper Alley girls (and boys of course!) are a brave lot who won't let a little chill get in the way of their evening plans. For this reason, we have selected a few gold and rose gold picks to add warmth to your nights out. 3. The Event Not to Miss -  Halloween can often be a difficult evening to navigate and, let's be honest,  the spookiest night of the year can easily turn into a logistical nightmare. After all, the possibilities are endless - house party or night out? To dress up or not to dress up? And if we choose to dress up, what shall we go as? It's to easy to end up in a seasonal question loop but luckily Tonight Josephine and Benefit have found the perfect solution for us. We're on Pinterest!

Good morning and happy start to the weekend! We hope you are all having a good summer (and no, we haven't forgotten our favourite London recommendations, keep an eye on our Instagram, @pepper_alley, as those are coming very soon). We are checking in today to share some exciting news regarding our social media presence. You know that we absolutely LOVE Instagram and that we also enjoy the odd tweet here and there. However, as you know Pepper Alley is a brand born out of inspiration and which continues to be influenced by the various inspirations that shape our work. Whether it's London, colour or effortless style, there are numerous mood boards scattered around the office (and saved on our laptops!) that we always refer to when planning new collections, social media content or blog posts.

We know you love following along with our journey as a small business and we have been wondering, for a while now, on the best way to share our inspirational content with you guys. We are thrilled to have global clients that we can call our friends and in order to reach all of you and share what inspires us and motivates us everyday, Pinterest seemed like a no brainer.

So, what can you expect? There will be a monthly board giving you aall the inspiration for the four weeks ahead. Today, we are kicking off with our Travel Edit board giving us all the beach and sun vibes as well as the fashion finds we have been loving for the season. We can't quite believe it but, at last, July is finally here! As summer arrives, so does our craving for warmer weather and holiday destinations and what better way to begin the month than with a little travel inspiration? It may be the RHS Flower show or our Sunday walks around the city but lately we have simply adored watching London in bloom! It got us thinking about our Flora clutches and, in particular, our little blush number which appears to particularly fit in with the gorgeous floral displays we are seeing around London at the moment.

You can't open a magazine without stumbling across an article about her,  her face is everywhere on the news and social media is obsessed with her style and effortless make up - yes, Meghan Markle is definitely the lady of the moment and with her wedding to Prince Harry set for the 19th May at Windsor Castle, we can't see the 'Markle Phenomenon' ending anytime soon.

With her impeccable make up and effortless style, it is clear that Meghan is a style chameleon at ease both on set and attending royal engagements. We love Markle's style (hello Rachel Zane's power suits!) and can't deny she is half of one of the cutest power couples. To us, she embodies the Pepper Alley girl perfectly; energetic, ambitious and with a soft heart for good causes. Busy Bee -Like all Pepper Alley girls, Meghan is a busy gal. The former actress is a keen yoga fan, used to run her own lifestyle website and is now super busy with wedding planning and royal events. However, this hectic lifestyle does not seem to phase Meghan who, following her mother's example, takes pride in her healthy lifestyle and practises meditations and yogic breathing. Pepper Alley Does SS18

When planning this post, we couldn't wait to share all the Easter excitement - the long weekend, the bubbles, the sunshine and the possibility of fishing out our Spring clothes from the depths of our wardrobe ready for a Bank Holiday Barbecue. However, living in the UK, we are used to the weather interfering with our plans just a little and we figured an outdoors guide to Easter in London or a summer look book would simply not cut it for this week's blog post. With forecasts of a rainy weekend and parts of the UK possibly facing (gasp!) snow, most of us will probably stay in. So what better than telling you all about our plans for Spring / Summer for you to read (indoors!) with a cup of tea and the remains of your Easter eggs?
